Tuddingan Falls is a beautiful waterfall in Naguilian, La Union, Philippines. It is one of the natural attractions of the province, and a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Here are some of the things that you can learn and enjoy about Tuddingan Falls:
• Tuddingan Falls is a 70-feet high cascade that flows from the mountains of La Union. It has a man-made pool at its base, where visitors can swim and relax. The water is clean and cold, and the surrounding area is lush and green.
• Tuddingan Falls is accessible by a 700-meter cemented pathway with railings that leads to a hill overlooking the waterfall. The pathway is beside Bagulin Road, which connects Naguilian to the town of Bagulin. The walk to the waterfall is easy and scenic, and visitors can enjoy the view of the countryside and the river.
• Tuddingan Falls is also a historical and cultural site, as it was the venue of the 2004 Global Reunion of Naguilian, where the balikbayans (returning Filipinos) celebrated their heritage and traditions. There are two huts and a comfort room near the waterfall, where visitors can rest and have a picnic. There is also a plan to build a three-storey reservoir at the top of the waterfall to control the water flow and ensure a strong and captivating cascade all year round.
• Tuddingan Falls is open to the public every day, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The entrance fee is 20 pesos per person. Visitors can also hire a tour guide for 500 pesos per group of up to five people. The guide will help them navigate the trail and share some stories and tips about the waterfall.
