Sleeping Beauty Mountain

Sleeping Beauty Mountain is a mountain that resembles the shape of a sleeping woman when viewed from a distance. It is also known as Mt. Patukan or Mt. Mating-oy Dinayao. It is a popular destination for hikers and mountaineers, who can enjoy the panoramic view of the landscape and the sunrise from the summit .

Sleeping Beauty Mountain is located in Tinglayan, Kalinga, a province in the Cordillera region of the Philippines. It has an elevation of about 2,000 meters above sea level and covers an area of about 60 square kilometers. It is part of the Cordillera Central mountain range, which spans across six provinces in Northern Luzon .

• Camping at the saddle campsite, which is near the peak of the mountain. The campsite has a flat and grassy area where visitors can pitch their tents and rest. The campsite also has a view of the sleeping beauty's face, which is best seen at dawn or dusk .

• Visiting the nearby attractions, such as Buscalan Village, where the famous tattoo artist Whang-od lives; Chico River, where visitors can go rafting or kayaking; and Lubuagan, where visitors can see the Kalinga Cultural Center and the Lubuagan Festival .
