Hundred Islands National Park

Hundred Islands National Park is a protected area in the Philippines that features 124 islands scattered in the Lingayen Gulf. The islands are made of ancient corals that were exposed by the lowering of the sea level. Only four of the islands have been developed for tourism: Marcos Island, Governor Island, Quezon Island, and Children's Island.

Some of the things you can do and see in the park are:

• Enjoy the scenic views of the islands from different perspectives, such as by kayaking, zip-lining, or hiking to the top of Governor Island.

• Explore the underwater world of the coral reefs by snorkeling or scuba diving. You can see various marine life, such as fish, turtles, clams, and sea urchins.

• Learn about the history and culture of the region by visiting the Safari Gallery, where you can see the preserved animals that were hunted by Chavit Singson, a politician and businessman who owns Baluarte Resort and Mini Zoo.

• Experience the local cuisine and hospitality by staying in one of the cottages or hotels on the islands or nearby. You can also try some of the delicacies, such as longganisa (sausage), bagnet (crispy pork), and empanada (stuffed pastry).

Hundred Islands National Park is a great destination for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and culture enthusiasts. It is located in Alaminos, Pangasinan, about 240 kilometers (150 miles) north of Manila. You can get there by bus, car, or plane.
