Dibulo Falls

Dibulo Falls is a stunning waterfall in Dinapigue, Isabela, Philippines. It is considered the tallest waterfall in the province, with a height of about 100 meters. It is located in Barangay Dibulo, where the Sierra Madre mountain range meets the Pacific Ocean. Dibulo Falls is named after the Palanan word pinacanauan, which means “left-most”.

Dibulo Falls is a natural attraction that offers a refreshing and relaxing experience for visitors. You can swim in the cold and clear water, enjoy the scenic view of the forest and the sea, or have a picnic in the outdoor cottages.

Dibulo Falls is also a historical and cultural site. It was once a trading post for the Japanese, who were allied with the native Ibanag people in the 16th century. It was also the site of the 1582 Cagayan battles, which were fought between Spanish soldiers and Japanese ronin (masterless samurai).

Dibulo Falls is not easy to access, as it is isolated from the rest of Luzon. You can only get there by air taxis or boats that sail on unknown dates. This makes it more pristine and unspoiled than other waterfalls.
